August 1981 Andy left The Flamingo Club and travelled to Germany. Again meeting up with his agent Vince Domico he based himself in Frankfurt and for the rest of 1981 toured throughout Germany working at various US, UK and Canadian Bases, with a short stint in Monte Carlo.

During the next 6 months Andy Mac worked with soul group 'The Ohio Players', and a Las Vegas show called 'The Gwen Brisco Revue'  and finally with ex lead singer from the Crickets 'Jerry Naylor'.
Jerry was the lead singer of the Crickets for a while after Buddy Holly died, he was not known in the UK but really well known in The States.

Innervision went through some changes as various members came and went. During 1984 they toured throughout Scotland and the North of England.

Finally down to four members Mike, Trevor, Pete and Andy, 'Delayline' was formed.
They soon began writing songs and secured a recording contract with their first song called,
'We Can Make It'
They had met
Paul Hardcastle  who was to become well known for his million selling hit single 19. He remixed We Can Make It for the bands 12inch release, and soon they were out on the road promoting.
Andy admits these were early days of Rap and they decided to put one in this first song, unfortunately it sounds more like John Barnes rapping on World In Motion for the England Football Team in 1990, but Delayline did it 5 years earlier!

In Trevor's memory the second single, 'Keep That Smile' was release.
Although it was well received sadly the band had split up, as 1985 came to an end Keep That Smile was resigned to history.

Both of Delayline's songs have become rare click here to see just one site selling copies of We Can Make It

1982 and Andy was back in the UK, although he had been thinking of emigrating to work in the US, he decided to stay and try something new.

Throughout 1982 and '83 Andy and some friends had been jamming together just for fun. Someone suggested they put a band together and do a couple of gigs.
They decide on a band name, and 'Innervision' was born. Andy arranged some bookings in various venues throughout South London and they were off and running.
Below are a couple of pictures of the band working.

During 1985 Delayline made personal appearances across the London club scene to promote their first single, often meeting up with other bands of the time, Loose Ends, Five Star, Aswad and The Coolnotes to name but a few.

Tragically during the recording for their second single Trevor (the bass player and the rapper on We Can Make It) became sick and was rushed to hospital, within hours he had died. Subsequently it was found he had a brain tumor.
